Introduction to the exhibition:
There are about 150 papermaking enterprises in Italy, nearly 200 papermaking factories, with 25,000 employees. Every year, 15 million tons of paper products will be consumed, of which 11 million tons are produced in Italy and about 4 million tons are imported from abroad.
According to a new survey released by the European Paper Industry Research Institute, Italian paper industry ranks fourth in Europe, after Germany, Finland and Sweden, accounting for 9.6% of the total European share. At the same time, Italy attaches great importance to the recycling of paper, although it still ranks fourth in Europe, it is only 0.1% different from Finland and Sweden.
When it comes to Luka, the European response is not only the church, but also the home of the European paper industry. The origin of the Luka paper industry can be traced back to the 15th century, which has a history of 600 years. Today, Luka has gathered 120 paper industry enterprises, and it occupies 24% of the total domestic paper manufacturing share in Europe. It is the largest domestic paper manufacturing base in Europe. At the same time, corrugated cardboard boxes are also among the best in Europe.
