What is the recommended cooling water temperature at the outlet of the diffusion pump? 50C?40C?

Diffusion pump pump as one of the most common high vacuum pump, its ultimate vacuum can up to 10-5Pa, but in actual use, we do not recommend using vacuum pump near ultimate vacuum for a long time, the most direct impact is that the pumping capacity will decrease dramatically, and long-term use at a point near ultimate vacuum, in the long run, will affect the performance and stability of the pump!

Diffusion pump is also known as oil diffusion pump which has compact structure and need to circulate water by winding cooling pipes outside the pump to cool the pump body. Do you know what is the proper temperature for cooling water?

We suggest that the temperature of cooling water should not exceed 40 degrees, because too high temperature will seriously affect the service life of the pump.  Therefore, please ensure that the temperature of the cooling water is controlled within the range in using.
