Combined vacuum pumping unit system for overhead atmospheric and vacuum distillation/fractionation process

Overview: Atmospheric and vacuum distillation and fractionation is a very common process in the petroleum industry.

(1) Atmospheric and vacuum distillation process:

1.1 The dehydrated and desalted crude oil is pumped into the atmospheric heating furnace (1) and heated to 360~370 ℃ before entering the atmospheric distillation tower (2).

1.2 Fractionate gasoline, solvent oil, kerosene, diesel oil, etc. from top to bottom in atmospheric distillation tower.

1.3 The tower bottom heavy oil is introduced into the vacuum heater (3), heated to about 400 ℃, and then enters the vacuum distillation tower (4),

1.4 Heavy diesel oil and various lubricating oil fractions of different specifications are fractionated from top to bottom in the vacuum distillation tower, and residual oil comes out from the bottom of the tower.

(2) Analysis and status quo of vacuum system of overhead vacuum distillation:

2.1 Low efficiency steam jet pumps are widely used. Steam consumption accounts for 10% of the energy consumption of the whole unit, and a large amount of cooling water is consumed.

2.2 The mechanical vacuum pumping method with more than ten times higher efficiency has long been used abroad.

2.3 In recent years, large domestic distillation units have also begun to use mechanical vacuum pumping technology and achieved good results.

2.4 Large projects gradually adopt composite vacuum pumping system. Small and medium-sized projects have basically adopted or directly used mechanical vacuum pumps to establish vacuum.
