2.1 Low efficiency steam jet pumps are widely used. Steam consumption accounts for 10% of the energy consumption of the whole unit, and a large amount of cooling water is consumed.
2.2 The mechanical vacuum pumping method with more than ten times higher efficiency has long been used abroad.
2.3 In recent years, large domestic distillation units have also begun to use mechanical vacuum pumping technology and achieved good results.
2.4 Large projects gradually adopt composite vacuum pumping system. Small and medium-sized projects have basically adopted or directly used mechanical vacuum pumps to establish vacuum.
