Drying pump

New technology of vacuum drying pump

There seems to be some mysterious relationship between the number of employees and the number of pumps used in the chemical industry. It’s not the only company moving in that direction. In short, the rapid growth of pump is the obvious embodiment of its importance in chemical equipment. However, the “working conditions” of pumps in chemical production facilities are usually very high. You must estimate the variation of medium properties and suction conditions. It is often necessary to consider the particular dangers posed by the medium. All this means that pumps must meet stringent quality and safety requirements. “Despite the good intentions of all involved, it is very difficult to achieve pump standardization due to changes in requirements.” however, if the pump is efficient and the LCC is minimal, the pump should be well integrated into the system.

There are many ways to get a lower LCC:
Increase efficiency (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic) and use new drive and control solutions (especially to reduce local load losses) in order to make better use of energy.
Increase service life (MTBF) by introducing mechanical improvements such as shaft seals, durable materials, and the use of early warning and condition diagnosis strategies.

Adopt innovative maintenance strategy to increase input-output ratio.

Reduce investment and acquisition costs by streamlining and standardizing suppliers, products, models, and types. This last point is a big one. That’s good news for the big players in the industry, but it’s hard for the small players.

Useful information, not just data. Mechanical parts in motion are always subject to wear and tear, no matter how good or durable the individual parts are. So how do we better manage wear and tear and unpredictable failures caused by individual errors?
Conventional sensors take a measurement and send a signal that no operator wants to see — in other words, a false message. Ideally, early error detection would step in before this stage, sending a failure signal before the pump fails or damage occurs. This was discussed recently at the Dechema pump annual conference in Frankfurt, Germany. Operators have raised concerns about problems caused by sensors that send large amounts of unanalyzed data. The system has been designed as an intelligent diagnostic system that warns operators of possible damage. It also promised “a clear indication of what to do and what to do about it”. Features are modular structures. The operator can decide which available modules he likes to use, and he can install upgrades and extensions at any time. These modules turn the pump into an intelligent system that helps minimize life-cycle costs. Precise conditions and detailed information about the pumps in use can increase process reliability and system efficiency, and potentially reduce maintenance and operating costs.

The mechatronic solution of vacuum pump has introduced the new technology of vacuum drying pump.

The drying pump, vacuum, is used in the chemical industry for basic thermal operations such as concentration, distillation, and drying, which are carried out at low temperatures in order to avoid damaging the product. Suitable pumps must be able to deliver flammable gases safely and without sustained damage from corrosive media. The mechatronic vacuum system is based on a gearless progressing cavity pump with no load operation (each shaft has its own electronically connected drive). The pump was developed for use in areas such as conveying explosive media. Special heat dissipation features and shaft electronic synchronization eliminate potential ignition sources during normal operation or under conditions where errors may occur. The vacuum system is a class 2 instrument and can operate without a flame trap. Electronic synchronization is used to independently monitor the torque of the shaft in operation. If the shaft is raised beyond the allowable limit, the pump will automatically slow down or stop operating in extreme conditions.
