Vacuum pump used in pharmaceutical chemical instrument
1、 Overview
Vacuum pump is one of the most commonly used equipment in the laboratory, which is often used in the situation of higher vacuum requirements. The efficiency of the vacuum pump depends on the structure of the pump and the quality of the oil (the lower the vapor pressure of the oil, the better). A good vacuum pump can pump a vacuum degree of 10 ~ 100Pa. The more fine the structure of the oil pump, the higher the requirements for the operating conditions.
2、 Operation process
After connecting the pipes all over the place, turn on the switch.
3、 Selection of vacuum pump
(1) The selection of vacuum pump should be consistent with the operating conditions, such as vacuum degree, pumping rate, power supply voltage, etc.
(2) The vacuum pump should be placed in a clean and dry place. Clean and change oil on time. When cleaning, use kerosene or straight run gasoline. After washing, all parts should be dried, dried in the sun or blown dry with a blower. When changing the oil, use clean vacuum pump oil, if replaced by other oil will seriously affect the vacuum degree.
(3) The vacuum system and the pipeline connected with the pump should be short and thick, and the joints should be reduced as far as possible. Each joint shall be tightly sealed to ensure no air leakage.
(4) If the temperature of the extracted gas is higher than 40 ℃, gas cooling equipment shall be added. If there are droplets, condensation and dehumidification equipment should be added. If the extracted gas is corrosive or has chemical reaction with oil, absorption and neutralization equipment should be added.
(5) Before starting the pump, check whether the rotation direction of the motor is correct (when checking the rotation direction, take off the drive belt first to avoid the oil gushing out when the motor reverses), whether the smooth system is reliable and whether the oil quantity is appropriate.
(6) During operation, the oil temperature of vacuum pump shall not exceed 75 ℃, and there shall be no noise and vibration. Otherwise, it shall be shut down for maintenance.
(7) When stopping the pump, the valve connecting the vacuum system should be closed first, and the gas valve should be opened to avoid the pump oil being sucked back into the vacuum system, and then the power supply of the motor should be blocked.
(8) Vacuum pump should not be used to pump low boiling point liquid, therefore, the system should be pumped out with low boiling point solvent before using vacuum pump.
