Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump Large Capacity, CL

CL series offers medium to large capacity single stage vacuum pumps, ideal for harsh industrial applications and harsh environments. Heavy duty pumps are designed to serve a wide range of applications, including dehydration in the paper industry and vacuum filtration in mineral processing.

Operating as a vacuum pump and compressor, the exhaust pressure range is 36 psia (2.5 bar abs.)
Some applications require vacuum and compression in a process. Our liquid ring vacuum pump and compressor models reduce costs and simplify installation with one pump instead of two separate machines to process the gas.

Standard performance characteristics

Heavy-duty hood impeller and conical transplant designs allow the pump to handle handling of liquids and soft solids without damage.
The liquid ring is designed to be quiet, vibrate little, and requires minimal filtration since there is no metal-to-metal contact during pump operation.

The CL series is interchangeable in size and performance with other brands’ common conical port vacuum pumps.
Standard materials are cast iron casings with nodular cast iron impeller, full and part 316SS construction can also be used for more corrosive applications.

Standard low maintenance functions

The CL range has a removable 304SS bushing in the packing seal area to prevent the shaft from being damaged by packing friction and greatly simplify maintenance procedures.
The inner bearing covers are cast steel, so they can be used to extract bearings without the risk of rupture. In addition to the emtivac bearing removal kit, this feature is used to allow in-place bearing replacement without the need to remove the pump or the bearing box.
All pump gland follower and fasteners are of 316SS construction to prevent corrosion damage and fracture.

Standard quality construction

CL series is manufactured according to the certified ISO 9001 quality standard.
Impeller dynamic balance to iso-1940-1986 (E) g.63
Before machining, the cone is precisely cast by dewaxing.
Each pump shall be tested for capacity performance in accordance with the requirements of part ii of BS-1571 prior to shipment.
The mounted bearings are of the best quality and are manufactured by SKF or Timkin.
All pumps have a 24 month warranty on design, material or process.
