The inner and outer surfaces of the lower part of the water ring form an air chamber with the wheel housing. The volume of this air chamber increases in the right half, and a vacuum is formed in the first half with the increase of the volume between the wheel housing and the water ring, Therefore, the air is sucked into the group through the suction pipe and the crescent shaped air inlet on the pump housing end cover of the vacuum unit; In the second half of the cycle, air is compressed as the volume between the wheel housing and the water ring decreases, and is discharged through another crescent shaped exhaust port on the pump housing end cover. When the impeller rotates from time to time, the unit can pump air away.
