The properties of commonly used rubber include the following categories:
1: Natural rubber. Good elasticity, good strength, usage temperature -60-100 ℃, non oil resistant, poor aging resistance.
2: Styrene butadiene rubber. It is a copolymer of butadiene and styrene. Not resistant to oil, but cold and wear-resistant.
3: Neoprene rubber. It is a polymer of chloroprene. Has a certain degree of oil resistance, good aging resistance and ozone resistance under atmospheric conditions.
4: Nitrile rubber. It is a polymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile. Good oil resistance. The higher the content of acrylonitrile, the better its oil and heat resistance. The disadvantage is poor resistance to aging and ozone under atmospheric conditions.
5: Silicone rubber. It is a siloxane polymer. Heat resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, and good electrical insulation performance. The disadvantage is poor mechanical performance and high gas release rate.
6: Fluorine rubber. It is a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and perfluoropropylene. Oil resistant, high temperature resistant, and low gas release rate.
7: Polysulfide rubber. Resistant to oil, ozone, and aging under atmospheric conditions.
Summary: The above can be used for rubber pipes and vacuum sealing gaskets in the previous stage of vacuum.
Chloroprene and nitrile rubber are the most commonly used.
