The difference between 2BE3-42 work as vacuum pump and compressor
Remark: The following information uses sugar factory applications as an example.
1.The appearance is different.
When 2BE3-42 work as vacuum pump, the discharge manifold is rectangle, it is not only working as connection pipe also work as separator to separator the seal water and pumped gas.
When 2BE3-42 work as compressor, the discharge manifold is rounded, it is only working as connection pipe also separator( if you do not have one Independent separator to connect the discharge port of the compressor ), The circular design helps the gas be compressed and moved more effectively.
if you have one Independent separator to connect the discharge port of the compressor , when 2BE3-42 worked as compressor, the discharge manifold will be below design:

2.The installation and adjustment of internal part gaps are different, but they do not significantly affect the performance and operation of the pumpwhen 2BE3-42 work as vacuum pump or Co2 compressor
3.The shaft power required is not same, so the motor power is not same. When it work as compressor, the motor power is much bigger than vacuum pump.
For example
2BE3-42 as vacuum pump at 490rpm, max shaft power is 230kw
