Can all molecular pumps be installed at any angle?
Molecular pumps may involve different installation methods during the use of the unit, so can all molecular pumps be installed at any angle?
Our molecular pumps FB-300 (300L/s), FB-650 (650L/s), FB-1300 (1300L/s), FB-2000 (2000L/s) can be either air-cooling or water-cooling, even when they are water-cooling they can all be installed at any angle, including side-mounted and inverted, as shown in the following pictures:
But FB-600 (600L/s), FB-1200 (1200L/s), FB-1600 (1600L/s), FB-3600 (3600L/s) can only be installed vertically (small deviation within 5° is allowed) , can not be flipped, can not be side mounted. Assuming that the customer’s equipment manufacturer needs these pumps, there are two ways to deal with it:
1) Install the molecular pump at the bottom of the chamber, and the molecular pump is still installed vertically;
2) Open the side of the cavity, install a 90° elbow, and the molecular pump is still installed vertically;
