The double stage water ring pump is designed for two-stage compression process. The pumping speed is stable in the range of high vacuum degree, or it can maintain high vacuum degree in the range of large vacuum pumping rate.
The double stage water ring vacuum pump and the single stage water ring vacuum pump are designed and developed for different working conditions. In the range of higher vacuum degree (less than 20000pa), the pumping speed of single-stage water ring vacuum pump decays seriously, even less than 30% of the maximum pumping speed when it is 5000-10000pa. Under this condition, the efficiency is very low and the power consumption is high, but under the condition of coarse vacuum, it shows the advantage of large pumping capacity.
However, the double stage water ring vacuum pump can obtain a larger pumping speed in a higher range of vacuum degree, or maintain a higher vacuum degree in a large range of vacuum pumping rate. The aging rate is 35% to 40% higher than that of single-stage water ring vacuum pump, and the energy consumption is also reduced.
