In the face of this special application demand, the two sets of plastic extrusion degassing system provided fully meet customer needs. The system is installed in the mobile frame and can be moved and connected to the degasser when needed. The degassing device controller is connected to the extruder through a simple connector and allows the whole system to operate automatically. The extruder controller sends “start/stop” and vacuum setting signals to the degassing system. The controller sends the measured vacuum value back to the extruder controller continuously, and gives an alarm when the setting deviates from the measured value or the equipment fails. The system also includes an integrated separation system for condensate gas and water vapor.

This modern technology has been applied to all material processes of twin screw extruder, including high temperature polyamide, whose melting point temperatures are as high as 350 degrees C and P P, PC, PC/ABS, POM and P LA. It is a specialty of our company to apply it to the production of micro-particle products.

Our company technicians said that only dry vacuum pump can be applied to this application. The traditional vacuum pump has the disadvantage that the working liquid is polluted: the extracted gas and water vapor will mix with the working liquid of the vacuum pump. Water ring vacuum pumps are particularly vulnerable to contamination of working fluids, which will cost water treatment or increase maintenance costs. In this environment, oil-lubricated vacuum pump also needs higher maintenance costs, and its working oil and filter must be replaced frequently. Therefore, it is most appropriate to choose piston vacuum pump to be applied in this field, and it is the most appropriate way for us to use piston vacuum pump to degasse plastic extrusion machinery.
