Rotary vane vacuum pump is suitable for vacuum pumping in closed system, such as vacuum packaging, vacuum forming, vacuum attraction, etc. Rotary vane vacuum pump can not pump water or other liquids. No explosive, flammable, excessive oxygen and corrosive gases can be removed. So how to install rotary vane vacuum pump?
rotary vane vacuum pump Installation :
Rotary vane vacuum pump should be placed horizontally. Similar to the rotary vane vacuum pump, there is almost no vibration when it is running, which is usually not fixed. There are metric screw holes on the cushion block at the bottom of the pump to fix the pump. Do not push and pull the pump on the ground to avoid damaging the cushion block. In order to ensure a good cooling of rotary vane vacuum pump, the inlet and outlet of cooling air should be more than 30 cm away from the surrounding objects. In order to facilitate maintenance, it is recommended to leave 0.4m gap in front of the intake and exhaust ports of the pump. A base with an oil disc can be installed for easy oil discharging. The pumps are delivered without oil. After installation, the specified vacuum pump oil is slowly injected through the filling port to 3/4 of the height of the oil window.
rotary vane vacuum pump electrical connection :
Electrical wiring must be carried out by professional electricians. Appropriate motor overload protection devices should be used. For single-phase 220V50HZ rotary vane vacuum pump, it is necessary to ensure that the voltage is in the range of 220V + 10%. If the voltage is below 220V, it must be equipped with AC power regulator. Do not work under low and high voltage for a long time to avoid damaging the motor. After the connection of the three-phase asynchronous motor is completed, the direction of the motor must be checked. The correct rotation direction of the motor is: from the fan end of the motor tail, the rotation direction of the motor tool shaft is counter-clockwise. When checking the direction of rotation, the suction port should be opened or completely covered with rubber sheet (thickness more than 4mm), and the power supply should be switched on for 2-3 seconds. If the rotation is correct, the defendant will feel strong suction in the suction port or the rubber sheet will hold tightly. If reversed, adjust any two of the three power lines.
Note: The pump will be damaged if it runs downward in wrong rotation for a long time.
Rotary vane vacuum pump system connection:
The size of the intake pipe should be no less than the size of the suction port and as short as possible. The threaded joints are vacuum sealed with Letai 515 or Teflon belt. Dust filters must be installed at the intake end of the pump if dust is contained in the exhausted gas. If necessary, the exhaust pipe should be inclined downward.
Rotary vane vacuum pump starting:
The rotary vane vacuum pump can be started after determining the oil level. After the first start and each change of wiring, the vacuum pump must be checked to start backward.
Rotary vane vacuum pump operation:
Before normal operation, it is advisable to close the intake valve so that the rotary vane vacuum pump can run for more than 15 minutes under the limit pressure state, which can effectively extract water vapor from the gas. The motor should not start frequently (less than 6 times per hour). It is recommended to install solenoid valves in the intake pipeline of the pump during intermittent cycle operation, and to close the solenoid valves in the non-working stage to make the pump work under the limit pressure state, so that the power consumed by the motor is not much, but the vacuum pump can be effectively protected.
Note: 1. Surface temperature of normal running pump rest, pump cover and other places will exceed 70 C. Do not touch by hand. 2. No refueling is allowed when the pump is running.
rotary vane vacuum pump limit pressure measurement:
Limit pressure should be measured directly in the suction port of the pump with a compressed vacuum gauge. When the pump is first used, used after long-term shelving, and used after replacing new oil, the intake should be closed for at least one hour to make the pump reach working temperature and measure the limit pressure after fully degassing of the pump oil.
Rotary vane vacuum pump maintenance:
It is recommended that the oil be changed after 150 hours of the first operation of the pump. Change oil every 500 hours after work. At the same time, oil filters should be replaced. If the oil is contaminated and blackened, emulsified and thickened, the oil should be changed in time. Clean the pump before adding new oil.
Rotary vane vacuum pump cleaning, oil change steps:
1. The hot oil is discharged from the rotary vane vacuum pump.
2. Rotary vane vacuum pump operates for 5-10 seconds.
3. Deplete the oil.
4. Inject cleaning oil (No. 32 general mechanical oil) to 3/4 of the height of oil window.
5. Running rotary vane vacuum pump for 5-10 minutes.
6. Stop-rotating vane vacuum pump to release oil. If the oil can not meet the requirements, repeat 4 or 5 steps.
7. Turn on the oil plug and run 5-10 banknotes.
8. Deplete the oil.
9. Inject the prescribed new vacuum pump oil.
Rotary vane vacuum pump replaces exhaust filter:
If the pump temperature rises significantly, the motor current reaches or exceeds the rated current, and there is fume in the exhaust port of the pump, the exhaust filter should be checked for blockage. If blockage occurs, the exhaust filter should be replaced in time. The exhaust pressure gauge can be installed at the filling hole of the pump to check whether the filter is blocked. Replace the exhaust filter when the pressure exceeds 0.6 bar.
Rotary vane vacuum pump cleaning suction filter:
The suction filter should be kept clean so as not to decrease the pumping speed.
Rotary vane vacuum pump storage:
If the pump is not used for a long time, the oil should be exhausted and cleaned, and then injected into the prescribed new oil and placed in the drying place.
rotary vane vacuum pump other problems :
1. If users need to order maintenance spare parts, please inform the type and number of rotary vane vacuum pump. The type and number of rotary vane vacuum pump can be found on the nameplate of the pump.
2. Because some maintenance and repair work requires certain professional knowledge, equipment and special tools, please contact the manufacturer for details.
3. Oil-free should be ensured in the handling of rotary vane vacuum pumps. Do not impact oil pipes, oil filters, etc.
