Rotary vane vacuum pump is an oil sealed mechanical vacuum pump. It belongs to the low vacuum pump. It can be used alone or as a front pump for other high vacuum pumps or ultra high vacuum pumps. When the pressure is between 10-1 and 10-2, the air flow becomes a transient flow state, when the oil vapor begins to oppose diffusion. As the pressure decreases further, the gas becomes a molecular flow, and the reflux rate becomes higher and higher. Between 10-3 and 10-4 torrents, the reverse diffusion of oil vapor molecules reaches the maximum, and the pumping speed decreases faster.
