The general process of papermaking is as follows:
Raw materials – slicing – steaming – washing – screening – bleaching – pulping – vacuum dewatering (using water ring vacuum pump) – pressing dewatering – drying – forming – leaving the factory.
After pulping, the paper pulp contains a lot of water, and the water in the pulp must be removed to make the finished product. The vacuum dewatering is the first stage of the pulp dewatering.
The process of vacuum dewatering is to spray the pulp into a fine grid of copper mesh woven from copper wire. A true empty box is set at a certain distance under the copper mesh belt. The vacuum pipe is connected under the true empty box, and then the inlet pipe of the water ring pump is connected.
Due to the vacuum caused by water ring pump, the water in the copper mesh pulp can be inhaled into the pipe to achieve the purpose of dehydration.
