Low stress cast aluminum plate with homogeneous structure is a semi-finished product, which is suitable for applications with high demand for materials. Unlike rolling and metal plates, sawing can be used to produce aluminum plates with homogeneous structure and low stress. Aluminum plate is made of roll rolled aluminum ingots provided by different foundries. Before processing, it is treated by stress annealing to eliminate the stress produced in the process of casting and cooling. The initial process is to cut ingot to size on vertical band saw blade and horizontal band saw blade successively. Some aluminum plates can be delivered after sawing, but most of them need to be processed again using one of the three CNC milling machines. The milling head diameter of the two milling machines is 1.7 meters, which means that the standard width plate can be milled on one side through one feed action. The third milling machine is equipped with a milling head which can mill plates up to 2.5 meters wide by a single feed operation. The three milling machines are equipped with oil-free vacuum pumps to generate vacuum for holding aluminum plates on the grid table.
The vacuum pump can be vacuumed without working fluid or contact, so the extracted air can be compressed without working fluid. The non-contact technology can prevent the vacuum pump from wear and maintenance. In addition, non-contact operation can improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Oil free operation means that there is no pollution when the gas is discharged from the oil-free vacuum pump. Maintenance work is limited to a preventive change of gear oil once a year. The output power of the oil-free vacuum pump is precisely configured to provide the required clamping force, which means that a smaller vacuum pump is installed on each milling machine used to process standard size plates compared with milling machines of special width. The two smaller oil-free vacuum pumps are driven by a 3kW ie3 motor and the larger vacuum pump is driven by a 6kw ie3 motor. Therefore, the energy consumption of three milling machines for vacuum production is 64800 kwh per year, which saves energy consumption. This technical equipment not only meets all the expectations, but also the vacuum supply is extremely stable.
