Vacuum pump is applied in vacuum plastic forming

Vacuum suction molding is one of the common vacuum pump applications, is also a plastic packaging container production commonly used thermoforming method, in the processing of packaging materials industry has a wide range of applications.

What is vacuum molding:

Vacuum suction molding is generally used for making open shell products of thermoplastic sheets. The principle is simply that the plastic sheets are heated to a certain temperature, then softened to viscoelastic state, and then pumped through a vacuum pump to vacuum the mold, forming a vacuum suction pressure difference, so that the sheets are deformed and covered on the mold contour surface, the most. After cooling, shaping and dressing.

The whole set of vacuum plastic suction unit is generally composed of upper and lower heater, temperature controller, bearing plate, press frame, vacuum pump, vacuum chamber, mold temperature controller, cooling device and so on. Parameters are controlled by computer storage, and the control is simple. When a certain type of product is produced, only the corresponding parameters can be adjusted.

Vacuum plastic forming relies on the vacuum pressure difference to make the sheet stretch and deform. At present, the vacuum is easy to realize, master and control, making vacuum molding products with low cost, high production efficiency advantages, has been widely used. Its form can be divided into three types: die less molding, punch (Yang Mo) forming and die (die) molding.

2SK Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump

Vacuum Moldless forming is that the sheet is heated to the required temperature, then pressed on the clamping ring, and then pumped with a vacuum pump. By controlling the vacuum degree, the sheet can reach the required forming depth. In this method, the workpiece does not touch any mold surface, the surface gloss of the workpiece is high, without any defects, but the forming process can only change the tensile degree and shape of the workpiece, can not form complex shape of the workpiece.

The difference between punch (positive mold) and concave mold (negative mold) is the difference of the contact surface between the molding material and the molding mold. The products formed by them have higher quality and more distinct and meticulous structure, but punch forming is more advantageous to the manufacture of products with larger wall thickness and depth, while concave die is not suitable for the production of products with large depth. At the same time, they have their own characteristics in both internal and external dimensional accuracy and product thickness. Punch forming, the inner dimension of the product is precise, the largest part of the wall thickness is at the top of the punch, the thinnest part is at the junction between the side and the bottom of the punch; concave molding, the outer dimension of the product is accurate, the largest part of the wall thickness is at the bottom of the cavity, the thinnest part is at the junction between the side and the bottom of the cavity, and with the increase of the cavity depth. The wall at the bottom of the product becomes thinner.
