The working principle of the two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump is as follows: the working fluid from the separator enters the inlet of the first stage impeller after passing through the cooler to provide the working liquid of the first stage impeller. At the same time, a pipe with a reduced diameter is connected to the inlet of the second stage impeller to provide the working liquid of the second stage impeller. The exhaust port of the first impeller is divided into two ways. The main road enters the inlet of the second impeller and a bypass pipe with a smaller diameter is connected to the exhaust pipe of the outlet of the second impeller, and then enters the separator for gas-water separation. There is a device on the bypass pipe which is opened and closed by the height of the vacuum. When the vacuum is low, the gas is compressed only in the first stage impeller, and basically no compression is carried out in the second stage impeller. The gas is not compressed in the second stage impeller because the amount of working liquid is not enough, because the diameter of the water refill pipe is much smaller than the water refill pipe in the first stage impeller. The gas-water mixture at the first impeller outlet is partly bypassed and partly main. When the vacuum is high, the first and second impeller work simultaneously and the bypass is closed.
