High vacuum roots rotary vacuum system

Roots rotary vane vacuum pump system is composed of Roots vacuum pump as main pump and rotary vane vacuum pump as front stage pump in series. Its structure is compact and easy to operate. It is suitable for removing air and other non condensable and non corrosive gases. It is widely used in various vacuum systems which need high pumping speed and high vacuum. Such as: vacuum smelting, power capacitors, transformers, vacuum impregnation treatment, vacuum coating equipment in the pre pumping.

Preparatory work

1. The operator must read the product manual.

2. Before using the product, ensure that there are no factors causing product failure due to long-term storage.

3. If abnormal sound and vibration are found in the work, the machine should be shut down for investigation.

4. The shell of electrical equipment must be grounded or connected to zero.

Preparation before start-up

1. Open the cooling water inlet valve to ensure smooth cooling water without leakage.

2. The lubricating oil level of gearbox and bearing box is within the required range.

3. When it is used under the following conditions, corresponding measures must be taken:

(1) When there are dust or particles in the inhaled gas, dust remover or filter should be installed in front of the suction port.

(2) If the inhaled gas is corrosive, the vacuum pump must take anti-corrosion measures.

(3) Suction gas contains water vapor, and the selection of the former stage pump is oil seal mechanical pump, the former stage pump should be equipped with gas ballast device, when the steam is too much, condenser must be installed.

Start program

1. Start the front stage pump

2. Open the valve on the pre pumping bypass pipe of the front stage pump and the valve on the inlet pipe of roots pump.

3. When the pressure in the system reaches the allowable inlet pressure of Roots vacuum pump, close the valve on the bypass pipe and start the roots vacuum pump.

Points for attention in operation

1. During operation, it must be used in strict accordance with the technical operation regulations of Roots vacuum pump. Under normal conditions, the inlet pressure of Roots vacuum pump is below 10000pa, and its maximum inlet pressure should not exceed its allowable maximum inlet pressure.

2. Pay attention to the motor load and the temperature rise of each part of the pump at any time. Under normal conditions, the maximum temperature rise of the vacuum pump is not allowed to exceed 40 ℃, and the maximum temperature is not allowed to exceed 80 ℃.

3. There should be no abnormal vibration during operation.

4. If motor overload, high temperature rise, abnormal sound, excessive vibration and other conditions are found during operation, the machine should be stopped immediately to check the causes and eliminate the fault in time.

Shutdown procedure

1. Close the air valve of the oil sealed mechanical pump of the front stage pump.

2. Close the inlet valve of Roots vacuum pump.

3. Stop roots vacuum pump first and then the front stage pump.

4. Shut down the front stage pump and provide air defense to the front stage pump immediately.

5. When the pump temperature drops to 40 ° C, close the cooling water inlet valve.

6. If the pump is shut down for a long time or the ambient temperature is lower than 0 ° C, the cooling water in the pump shall be drained completely, and the dry gas shall be filled into the pump chamber to seal the air inlet and outlet.
