Liquid ring vacuum pump application process introduction:Liquid ring vacuum pump is a kind of coarse pumping pump with liquid as working medium, water as working medium is called water ring vacuum pump, and other working medium can be oil, sulfuric acid and acetic acid. Distillation: many chemical raw materials can be obtained by distillation. Vacuum distillation usually occurs in vacuum. According to the required pressure and gas volume, the liquid ring vacuum pump is used as a single machine or as a front stage pump.
Crystallization: for many minerals, the crystallization process will be faster and better in vacuum. Due to the large amount of water vapor produced in the process of pumping, liquid ring vacuum pump is often used as the vacuum equipment in the crystallization process.
Concentration: For heat-sensitive materials, the liquid is evaporated in the state of solid-liquid mixing, or the liquid mixture with low boiling point is evaporated to achieve concentration, at this time the liquid ring vacuum pump is used.
Drying: We often need to dry the solid-liquid mixture before deep processing or when the final treatment, the use of vacuum pumps can achieve low-temperature drying. For very sensitive products can be used “freeze-drying”, that is, sublimation of the water vapor in frozen products and its extraction.
Cooling: By means of low-temperature evaporation, the heat in the liquid can be quickly and easily removed. Vacuum cooling process is based on this principle. Liquid ring vacuum pump is widely used in cooling operation because it is insensitive to steam and has the ability to extract steam at high speed.
Flotation: In the production process, many materials will be suspended in the liquid to form a solid-liquid mixture, in which excess water through vacuum filtration. In this case, the liquid ring vacuum pump is used to produce vacuum to achieve faster and better product flotation effect.
Degassing: many natural substances, especially materials used in medicine, are easy to oxidize. The oxidation effect will obviously shorten the storage period. The oxygen composition in the environment can be removed by vacuum pump.
Corrosive gas treatment, such as chlorine: because of its corrosiveness, chlorine is extremely difficult to compress, and corrosiveness depends on its water content. The wet chlorine gas can only be compressed with titanium or ceramics, while the liquid ring compressor has become a stereotyped equipment to compress dry chlorine gas with concentrated sulfuric acid as compression medium.
Production of vinyl chloride: liquid polyvinyl chloride is polymerized in pressure vessels. After the reaction, the pressure in the vessel decreases and the residual vinyl chloride monomer is extracted in gaseous form by a liquid ring vacuum pump. Then, the gas VCM is compressed to 0.6 MPa by a liquid-ring compressor, cooled and liquefied and stored in a container for further reaction.
Gas pumping: Water ring vacuum pump has become the preferred equipment for gas drainage because of its isothermal compression, spark-free production and its “fire extinguisher” function.
Filtration: when the pulp contains more liquid and solid dust, the liquid ring vacuum pump is used for differential pressure filtration.
