The lower inner surface of the water ring is exactly tangent to the impeller’s shell, and the upper inner surface of the water ring is exactly touch with the top of blade(in fact, the blade has a certain insertion depth in the water ring). If the lower of impeller is 0°(starting point), the volume of small space will become big in the when impeller is 180 ° and it connect with the suction port. At this time, the gas is suctioned, small space will be separated from the suction port when the end of the suction. When the impeller continues to rotate, the small space will become small from the big so that the gas is compressed. When the small space connect with exhaust port, the gas will be discharged.
