The impeller is eccentrically installed in the liquid ring vacuum pump body, and water of a certain height is injected into the pump when starting. Therefore, when the blade wheel rotates, the water forms a rotating liquid ring on the liquid ring vacuum pump wall under the action of centrifugal force. The upper inner surface of the liquid ring is tangent to the hub, and rotates along the main direction of the arrow. During the first half rotation, the inner surface of the liquid ring is separated from the hub one by one, so the space between the impeller blades is formed and gradually larger, In this way, the air is drawn in at the suction port; in the second half of the rotation, the inner surface of the liquid ring is gradually close to the hub, and the space volume between the blades is reduced, so the air between the blades is compressed and discharged.
