What is oil? Oil is a kind of flammable liquid mineral in the shape of viscous oil. As early as the early years of AD, the working people of our country have discovered and utilized it. The color is mostly black, brown or dark green, and occasionally yellow. Generally, oil is lighter than water. The density of petroleum is mostly 0.77-0.96g/cm3. Petroleum is a complex mixture of various hydrocarbons. In the composition of petroleum, the carbon content is about 84-85%, the hydrogen content is about 12-14%, and there are a small amount of organic compounds containing sulfur, oxygen and nitrogen. In addition, a small amount of iron, nickel, copper, lead, vanadium, arsenic, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, calcium, manganese and other elements were also found in the oil.

The structural features of vacuum pump mainly include the following:

Application of vacuum pump in petroleum products:
1. Dry gas oil
If the gas oil product contains very small amount of water, it will make its color turbid and not bright, greatly reducing the commercial price of the product. However, if the gas is led out from the distillation unit and then passed through a vacuum drying tower with only 37-112mmhg, the trace moisture in the gas oil can be basically removed, and the crystal clear and bright products can be obtained.
2. Furfural extraction lubricating oil
In order to get high-grade lubricating oil, it is necessary to refine it in order to get rid of the gum in the lubricating oil, the cycloalkanes, aromatics, sulfides and nitrides in the short side chain of the polycyclic ring. In the typical solvent refining process of liquid-liquid furfural extraction, the yield of residual oil is more than 80% ~ 90%. The boiling point of furfural is 161.7t, when the temperature is higher than 230 ℃, it will be overlapped.
3. Solvent dewaxing of petroleum products
In the aviation kerosene, diesel oil and light lubricating oil of petroleum products, there are more paraffin, in the heavy lubricating oil and residual lubricating oil, there are more wax, sometimes the content is more than 25%, so that some properties and liquidity become poor. In addition, paraffin and wax are important industrial raw materials, so the petroleum products must be dewaxed.
