1. Appropriate viscosity and good viscosity temperature characteristics: the volume of the liquid ring vacuum pump cavity changes continuously to form the exhaust effect, which requires that the lubricating oil should have appropriate viscosity and viscosity temperature characteristics.
2. Very low vapor pressure: This is the most important performance of vacuum lubrication. Since the vacuum degree of liquid ring vacuum pump is very high, paraffin based narrow fraction lubricating oil is generally used. For diffusion liquid ring vacuum pump, silicon oil or other synthetic oil with low vapor pressure can also be used.
3. Good anti-corrosion and anti emulsification liquid ring vacuum pump if it inhales corrosive gas, it will have chemical reaction with oil and corrode the parts in the pump; the inhaled air often contains water vapor condensate, which causes emulsification of lubrication and corrosion of metal, so it is required to have good anti-corrosion and anti emulsification.
4. Good thermal oxidation stability: it is developing at a high speed. Due to the high-speed friction between the slide and the pump body, the temperature of the oil increases and the oil is easy to be oxidized and decomposed. Especially, the diffusion pump often works in a very high temperature environment, which increases the vapor pressure in the system and reduces the vacuum degree. Therefore, it is required that the lubricating oil has good thermal oxidation stability.
5. Higher flash point: it is mainly required that the liquid ring vacuum pump does not carry light components to avoid affecting the saturated vapor pressure of oil products.
6. Lower limit pressure:
Limit pressure is an important performance index of lubricating oil to understand its limit pressure under the lowest vacuum limit pressure.
There is no principle for the clearance adjustment of liquid ring vacuum pump. The so-called clearance is the distance between the rotor and the pump wall. The clearance is to ensure that the rotation of the rotor does not rub the front and rear walls. The old pump is worn and cannot be adjusted according to the size of the instructions. When adjusting the clearance, the rotor can be moved by adjusting the position of the shaft, and then the rotor can run without friction by positioning the bearing and the gear. The temperature of roots pump is generally very high, the temperature of 75 ℃ should be considered high, but if you are an old pump, this temperature is also acceptable.
